iHeartMedia Names Brian Hall SVP of Programming for Ashville

iHeartMedia has announced that Brian Hall has been named Senior Vice President of Programming for Asheville, North Carolina, effective immediately. iHeartMedia Asheville has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of including News Radio 570 WWNC, 880 The Revolution, 97.7 The Brew, 99.9 Kiss Country, Star 104.3 and Rock 105.1. Hall will be responsible for spearheading the programming, promotions and digital strategies for all six stations in the Asheville market.

“Brian's vast experience in Asheville will really help us continue to dominate the market in every format,” commented Bill McMartin, Area President for iHeartMedia’s Asheville, Greenville and Greensboro markets. “We have an experienced team in Asheville who all have great respect for Brian and his ability to lead our programming efforts.”

“Brian’s expert leadership skills and market knowledge make him the perfect choice to lead the Asheville team,” remarked Meg Stevens, EVP of Programming for iHeartMedia’s Northeast Division. “We’re extremely excited to have him take the reins as our new Senior Vice President of Programming.”

Hall has worked in the iHeartMedia Asheville and Greenville markets for 15 years, most recently serving as Program Director for News Radio 570 WWNC and 880 The Revolution in Asheville and Fox Sports 1440 in Greenville, where he was responsible for all on-air content and sports play by play. His background also includes serving as a Local Sales Manager for iHeartMedia Asheville and an Affiliation Relations Director for Premiere Networks, where he spent seven years.
