Quick Hits: Linkin Park, Halsey, Chance the Rapper, Rancid
May 3, 2017

Linkin Park will hit the road this summer and fall in support of their upcoming album One More Light, due out May 19. The tour begins in Boston on July 27, with the first leg wrapping in Las Vegas on September 2. A shorter west coast run hits six cities in Washington, British Columbia and California in mid-October. Machine Gun Kelly opens all dates for the summer leg of touring aside from the first four, which will include Japanese rock band One OK Rock. Support for the October dates will be announced later.

Halsey has announced a North American fall tour of arenas in support of her upcoming album Hopeless Fountain Kingdom. Touted as "Installment One" of her Hopeless Fountain Kingdom World Tour, it begins in Uncasville, CT on September 29 with dates set up to November 22 in Cleveland. PartyNextDoor and Charli XCX are on board as the openers. Halsey also announced on Instagram that she'll unveil a new track tomorrow on Beats 1 with Zane Lowe.

Due to "scheduling conflicts beyond his control," Chance the Rapper has scrapped his upcoming European tour dates. The cancelation only affects four festival dates in early August. Chance's North American tour kicked off last night at Red Rocks in Colorado.

Veteran punks Rancid will release their ninth studio album, Trouble Maker, on June 9 via longtime label home Epitaph Records. The band already had announced a summer co-headlining tour with the Dropkick Murphys, which begins in Bangor, ME on July 27 and runs up to August 26 in Los Angeles.
